A Cozy Kingdom Where Cats Reign

What is a cat lounge?
A cat cafe is a cozy little kingdom where one can enjoy their favorite drink while adoptable cats and kittens purr, play and charm their way into your heart.
Why is there an entry fee?
Our entry fee helps keep the kingdom running smoothly—providing cozy beds, tasty meals, and medical care for our feline royals. Every sip you take and every minute you spend here directly supports their happily-ever-after.
Are we able to bring our own cats?
Our resident royals already rule the roost—outside cats must stay in their own kingdoms.
Can we feed the cats?
Our cats dine like royalty on their own feast, but guests may purchase special treats to share. Pats and play are always on the menu too!
What is the age limit for entry?
We welcome guests 6 years and older into our kingdom, while younger adventurers can enjoy special events designed just for them! As much as we wish we could open our doors to everyone at all times, welcoming children under 6 is simply too risky for both little ones and our kittens. Our feline residents are small, fragile, and sometimes unpredictable. For the safety of your babies and ours, we kindly—and firmly—enforce this age policy.

Plan your magical cat lounge adventure! Book in advance to guarantee your spot, enjoy flexible refund options, and arrive a few minutes early to make the most of cuddles, playtime, and royal purrs. Every visit helps our feline royals stay happy and cared for.
Do I have to book in advance?
Reservations are best to guarantee your royal visit, though walk-ins may join if the kingdom has room. Please reserve your visit ahead of time at sydneyscatlounge.com/book-a-visit.
What is your refund policy?
Full refunds are available up to 24 hours in advance. Late notice? We’ll happily reschedule your royal visit—just call or email our team at (512) 893-4945 or Hello@sydneyscatlounge.com.
What time should we arrive for our appointment?
Please arrive about 5 minutes early. We take 15-minute breaks between visits for a quick tidy and a catnap for our royal residents.
What time slots do you offer?
We offer 45-minute and 75-minute appointments. All sessions end at the scheduled time so our cats can enjoy their well-deserved snack breaks, and so our team can tidy up before welcoming the next batch of visitors.
Does each person in my group need their own ticket?
Yes! Our lounge can only host a set number of guests per experience. Each person needs their own ticket to ensure we don’t overbook, to keep our cats from feeling overwhelmed, and to make sure there are plenty of whiskers to go around during your visit.
Can I co-work with cats?
Yes — if your idea of productivity includes purrs and paws. We offer limited co-working sessions during quieter hours. Bring your laptop, find your flow, and let a few whiskered muses keep you company. Please book your co-working experience at Sydney’s Cat Lounge Co-Working
Private Experiences
A Private Royal Party just for you
Whether it’s a birthday, engagement, bachelor/bachelorette party, company holiday parties or just an excuse to celebrate, we love hosting magical moments! Each private experience will be catered to you and your needs.
What is the cost to book a private party?
Tuesday–Thursday:
- 1 hour 30 minutes: $800
- 2 hours 30 minutes: $1,100
Friday–Sunday:
- 1 hour 30 minutes: $1,000
- 2 hours 30 minutes: $1,300
To get started, please fill out the Sydney’s Cat Lounge Private Experience Request Form. Someone from our team will reach out to begin planning your event. Every celebration is thoughtfully customized based on your requests.
Is there an age restriction?
Children from the age of 4 are welcome but must be supervised at all times by an adult! We reserve the right to restrict ages if a visit may stress the cats.
What is the maximum capacity?
Our private events can host up to 15 guests.
Can we decorate?
Absolutely! Decorations are welcome as long as they’re cat-safe and won’t pose any risk to our furry royalty.
Private Experiences
Professional Photography & Commercial Shoots
Do you allow photoshoots?
Yes — we welcome photographers and creative projects with advance approval. All shoots must be scheduled and confirmed with management. Please submit an inquiry including your concept and duration: Contact Us
What are your rates?
Standard rates begin at $200/hour (2-hour minimum) for private shoots. Half-day and full-day buyouts are available. On-site staff for cat handling/oversight is required and may be an additional fee.
What about commercial or branded shoots (ads/marketing)?
For any commercial use (ads, sponsored content, paid campaigns) a usage fee or license is required in addition to the rental. This protects our brand and the wellbeing of the cats. We’ll quote a usage fee based on scope, distribution, and duration of use — typical approaches include a percentage of the rental rate or a flat license fee.
Are there rules for photography?
Yes — no flash, no loud props, and no handling of cats without staff present. Cats’ comfort always comes first.
Adoptions, Health & Safety
Bring Home Your Feline Royal
Adoption fees cover medical care, spay/neuter, vaccines, and more. Each new feline guest even enjoys a 7-day “sleepover” to ensure the perfect fit for your home and heart.
What is the cost to adopt?
The adoption fee is $150 per cat ($100 for each additional feline, $250 for a pair). Cats over 10 years receive a 50% reduction ($75 each). Once approved, your new royal enjoys a 7-day “sleepover” to ensure a perfect fit.
Are the cats adoptable?
Indeed they are! Many of our furry residents are waiting for their forever homes through our partner shelters. If one steals your heart, our team will help you make it official.
What does the adoption fee include?
The adoption fee covers everything a royal kitty needs: spay/neuter, vaccines, flea treatment, deworming, FeLV/FIV testing, and a microchip.
What if I have allergies?
Expect plenty of affection (and fur). Please note that the lounge contains cats and cat dander. We offer floral masks for $1 and cat grooming gloves for $8 if you’d like a little extra comfort while interacting with our royals. If you’re sensitive, we recommend taking allergy precautions before entering our feline wonderland.
What if a cat becomes stressed?
We monitor all cats closely. Staff will gently remove or separate any cat showing signs of stress. We ask guests to follow handling guidelines and to respect a cat’s choice to hide or move away.
Do I Need to Visit the Lounge Before Applying to Adopt?
To help ensure the best possible match for both our cats and their future families, we ask that all potential adopters visit Sydney’s Cat Lounge before submitting an adoption application.
This visit gives you the opportunity to spend time with the cats, feel that special spark, and see who naturally connects with you. It also allows our staff to observe these interactions and support a thoughtful, loving match—an important part of our adoption process.
